This private residence includes a gunite swimming pool and spa with a series of masonry walls, steps, and decking to optimize the client’s property. This piece of land presented a unique challenge in designing and constructing this project. The property was originally composed of a narrow flat backyard adjoined by a steep slope. We built a series of retaining walls and an IPE deck with cable wire railing to allow for ample entertainment space around the pool area. We used different material to enhance different textures and color throughout our design. We wanted to capture the essence of the natural surrounding woods for our clients to enjoy and feel as if they are a part of nature while entertaining their guests.
